We know how hard it is to find a family friendly hotel in a city center. Usually, family hotels are located in the outskirts of cities, focusing more on in-hotel activities and less on exploring the city. A family friendly stay at the center of things though makes a city trip so much easier, as families have someplace safe and friendly to easily get back to in case of rain, tired little feet, hangriness or just to spend some family time inside.
There are two large cities in Greece. We’ve visited one with kids while we live in the other, so we speak from in depth experience. We recommend you stay in hotels:
- centrally located, so it’s easy for you to navigate the city
- eco-friendly; it’s important for big hotels to be aware of how big their carbon footrpint is and to do everything possible to make this right
- family oriented

Colors Ladadika Central
Colors Ladadika Central is located in one of the food districts of Thessaloniki, aka the food capital of Greece. It’s closes to the sea, right next to Aristotelous square and it’s in a car free zone itself, where The Museum Of Illusions is also situated.
Why we think it’s family friendly: Its smart design offers extra space to the rooms, with some even having a separate sitting area. It’s also eco-friendly, with low emissions rooms.
