Achaiko Chorio Guesthouse

Achaiko Chorio is a energy sustainable guesthouse created by a family (Tolis, Kaiti, Marilena, Nikos and tiny Orestis) for families.

It is located near Kalavrita, 1350 metres above sea level hence the panoramic views!

The Guesthouse is transformed into a kids camp during the summer months, which means that here people really know how to keep kids creatively entertained.
During your stay, there will be organized activities for kids and families 3 times a day; at the farm, the survivor games, the sports facilities, in the common room or… in the snow! For the rest of your stay, you can relax and enjoy your family in your wooden chalet or the stone-built house. They are all spacious, traditionally decorated with taste, separate bedrooms, lovely sitting areas with fireplace, ideal for cozy family time.

In the common room, the central fireplace brings people together. Meals are served three times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), while coffee and snacks are served all day long. The menu is farm-to-table, since the farm produces goat and cow milk, different kinds of cheeses, eggs, pasta, bulgur, oranges, lemons, clementines, cow, goat and sheep meat, minced meat! There’s a kids menu as well, and, most importantly, during the restaurant’s opening hours, the indoor play area is open downstairs, as well!

Achaiko Chorio Guesthouse is located in the mountains of Egialia, perched on mount Klokos 1350 metres above sea level. The area is protected by NATURA 2000 for its biodiversity. During your stay, it’s worth paying a visit to Kalavrita town, the ski slopes, Panagia Plataniotissa Monastery, the Lake Cave, Vourraikos Gorge and Planitero.
